Harvard Business School - Toigo Scholar Award
Before becoming the managing partner of Invictus Africa Group in Washington, DC, Kojo Mills attended Georgetown University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in economics. Kojo Mills also earned an MBA in general management from the Harvard Business School (HBS) in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as receiving a Toigo Scholar award and going on to found the Invictus Africa Group.
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs/Hispanic Scholarship Foundation is the sponsoring organization for the Toigo Scholar Award at the Harvard Business School and all applicants are required to be nominated by the HBS. Minority students working toward careers in financial service are eligible for the award and all applicants must be either a permanent resident or United States citizen.
The Toigo Scholar Award provides $2,500 toward an MBA in finance and gives recipients a network of contacts along with leadership training and a point of prestige that will appeal to future employers.
